When can I register for PSU Remote Plus?

Registration will open on January 20, 2021.

How do I register someone else for PSU Remote Plus?

Please be advised:

  • If the attendee has an existing PowerSource account, you must use the attendee's established login (email address) and password.
  • If you are creating a new account on another's behalf, you must use the attendee's email address and supply them with their password.
  • The attendee must have access to their PSU account before, during, and after the event.

Tuition, Payment & Cancellation

What is the cost of tuition for PSU Remote Plus and what does it include?

Standard tuition is $1000.00 and includes:

  • Up to 10 three hour instructor-led sessions
  • Curriculum for all courses
  • Option for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for instructor-led sessions
  • Opportunities for solution and role-based certifications
  • Extended access to PD+, PowerSchool's online, self-paced, eLearning training platform
  • Exclusive Talks with Ted featuring everyone's favorite PSU emcee
  • Limited edition PSU Remote Plus memorabilia
  • Networking through PSU Connect

What methods of payment do you accept and where do I send my payment?

Payment can be made by purchase order or credit card.

When is my payment for PSU Remote Plus due?

We must receive your method of payment by 5:00 P.M. Pacific time, four weeks prior to the event. If we do not receive your purchase order or credit card by the deadline, we may release your PSU Remote Plus seat request. Your purchase order is sufficient for reserving your seat for PSU Remote Plus. Payment is due 30 days from your invoice date.

Is financial assistance available for PSU Remote Plus?

PowerSchool is unable to provide financial assistance for PSU. However, some schools and districts have been able to take advantage of available funds from the Department of Education. For more information, please visit the Department of Education Website.

I need a copy of my invoice now. Where can I get one?

An invoice for your registration will be provided once we have received and processed your purchase order. If you require a quote for tuition in order to process a purchase order you may access the quote by logging in to your My Events page, selecting My Registrations, and downloading the Quote for Tuition form.

What is the cancellation policy for PSU Remote Plus?

To cancel your registration, please email psu@powerschool.com as soon as possible, but no later than 5:00 P.M. PT two and a half weeks prior to the first day of your event. Any cancellation request received after this date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. If you cannot attend and do not cancel your request, you will be responsible for the full registration fee.


When can I select my courses for PSU Remote Plus?

The class schedule for our spring Remote Plus event will be available in February 2021. The class schedule for our summer Remote Plus event will be available in June 2021. All registered attendees will receive an email once the schedule for their event is available and they can select their courses. You will have the ability to select and edit your course schedule up to and throughout your PSU experience.

How do I know what experience level I am and which courses I should choose?

Experience level is determined by your daily usage of PowerSchool and your previous training experience. For a clear understanding of your level, please visit the Course Catalog. Each course description includes a summary of experience level and a recommendation for who should take each class.

Will I be able to take Certification courses at PSU Remote Plus?

Yes, as part of your PSU Remote Plus tuition, you are eligible for two free Certification exams on two different topics. To achieve certification success, suggested course tracks are recommended but not required (except where noted below). If you would like to participate in certification, please make your selections on your registration form. There is no obligation to take the exams and you can edit your selections anytime through the end of your PSU event.

How long is my Certification valid?

Certifications are classified by product release. If you have been certified on a previous version of PowerSchool, please email us at psu@powerschool.com about recertification.

Will I be able to earn CEUs at PSU Remote Plus?

Yes, you can now earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) towards professional development through UCLA Extension when you attend instructor-led sessions as part of PSU Remote Plus. Click here for more information and a list of courses eligible for CEU credit.
