Staff assignments

At the district, you can specify which staff members are qualified and available to offer program instruction. When schools set up the programs at their school, they assign specific staff to programs offered at their school. For more information about assigning staff to programs at schools, see Assigning staff to programs [>>].

Note: Before you begin, ensure that all staff are set up in PowerSchool SMS. Only district administrators can add or edit staff records. For more information about working with staff records, see Adding staff [>>]

To assign staff to programs:You can do this if your role is District Administrator.[DA]You can do this if your role is School Administrator.[SA]

In the Program Management control bar, click Staff. The Staff page appears.

To add a staff member, use the Basic or Detail Staff search to find staff members. Click Add. The staff member is added to the Qualified Staff for the Program grid. Note: If duplicate records exist, select the staff without an (X) by their name.

To edit information about a staff member, click the staff member's link in the Name column. Make any required updates and click OK. For more information on staff demographics, see Staff Demographics record [>>]

To delete a staff member, select the staff member and click Remove. Note: Removing a staff member from a program does not delete the staff record in PowerSchool SMS.
