Roles

Your role consists of the scope of information available to your user account [>>] and permissions [>>] that give you access to information and to actions, such as changing information or configuring how it is stored [see also Understanding your role >>]. A role is derived from one of a few standard types or base roles [>>].

Tilde (~): Indicates a permission inherited from the base role has been changed by the District Administrator for this role. In this example, the District Administrator has used the "School Admin" base role but allows the school administrator to delete schools.
