Schools record types

This section covers the record types that are accessed by the school administrator.

Record Type	Used to Import
Class Schedules [>>]	Data used to create schedules for secondary classes.
Facility Buildings [>>]	Building names and numbers and the schools they belong to.
Facility Rooms [>>]	Room numbers and types and the buildings they are in.
Student Course Requests [>>]	Courses secondary students have requested.
Student Schedules [>>]	Data used to create schedules for secondary students.

Class Schedules

You can do this if your role is School Administrator.[SA]

[Applies to secondary schools only.]

To navigate to the location of the fields covered by this record type:

In the Admin menu, click Scheduling. The Scheduling page appears.

Under Step 5, click Master Schedule. The Master Schedule page appears.

Click Display All Records.

Under Course Search Results, click one of the classes and scroll to the bottom of the page.

Facility Buildings

You can do this if your role is School Administrator.[SA]

To navigate to the location of the fields covered by this record type:

In the Admin menu, click School Setup. The School Setup page appears.

Under School, click Buildings and Rooms. The Buildings page appears.

Click Add Building from the Actions menu or click the Building No. link for one of the records.

Facility Rooms

You can do this if your role is School Administrator.[SA]

To navigate to the location of the fields covered by this record type:

In the Admin menu, click School Setup. The School Setup page appears.

Under School, click Buildings and Rooms. The Buildings page appears.

Click the # Rooms link for one of the records. The Rooms page appears.

Click Add Room from the Action menu or click the Room No. link for one of the courses.

In the control bar, click Schedule.

In the planning calendar, open a student record. The Student Demographics page appears.

In the control bar, click Schedule.

Click the Course Requests tab.
