Report results

By default, a report generates its results in the print-ready Adobe Acrobat (*.pdf) format. A report may give you the alternative of setting it to generate its results as a file in a format usable by other applications. The following file formats are available:

To generate results to a specific file format:

In the Admin menu click Reports. The District Reports page appears.

Click the report's name. The Report Options popup page appears.

In the Output Options panel, click a Report Format.

For a report that does not offer Output Options, PowerSchool SMS generates the results as a PDF.

Select the Output to file check box to have PowerSchool SMS write the results to a file in a specific location. For File, type a file name. For Path, type a file path; for example, "C:\" is typically the root folder on your local computer, "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop" is your Windows desktop. Note: If this check box is not selected, you can save the results to a file at the time they are generated.

Click Run Report. When the report runs, PowerSchool SMS generates results in the specified format.
