Resetting the Internet Information Server (IIS) for customizations

When custom schemas and pages are added to PowerSchool SMS, changes to the database are also updated as metadata [>>]. This metadata is cached on the web server. In order to see the changes, reset the Internet Information Server (IIS) to refresh the cache. If customization is occurring in a production environment, complete this process during off hours so as not to disrupt the system.
