Output options for query results

There are several file format output options for query results, including:

Important: We recommend using the PDF output option only for query results of less than 50,000 records. The Excel output option can accommodate as many as 600,000 records, but may be limited by your system’s available memory and system resources.

To generate results to a specific file format:

On the Query Results page, click the Output options icon [Figure 47]. The Output Options dialog appears.

Report format: Select a format to generate query results in that format. Note: The order in which the formats appear in this list can be changed in the AQ.AQExportDefinition table. For further information, contact Technical Support [>>].

Alternatively, you can select the Print this page icon () to have PowerSchool SMS open a new browser window from which you can print the Query Results page.

Click OK. PowerSchool SMS generates the query results in the specified format.
