Disabling the Task Manager
Since the PowerSchool SMS Task Manager [>>], is a Windows service, it starts up automatically on a server when that server starts up. The administrator can stop the service through Windows.

On the server, click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services. The Services dialog appears. |

Right-click "PowerSchool SMS Task Manager" and select Properties. The PowerSchool SMS Task Manager Properties dialog appears. |

For Startup Type, select "Manual". |
