Using PowerSchool SMS Task Manager to troubleshoot
When a problem occurs with PowerSchool SMS’s running of a task or process, PowerSchool SMS writes an error to the Task Manager’s log file: "Chancery.TaskManager.Service.Log". An administrator can use this log file to help identify the source of the problem.

On the database server, from the Start menu, click Settings > Control Panel. The Control Panel appears. |

Double-click Administrative Tools. The Administrative Tools dialog appears. |

Double-click Services. The Services dialog appears. |

Right-click "PowerSchool SMS Task Manager Service" and select Properties from the menu. The Properties dialog appears. |

Open the folder indicated in Path to executable. |

Open the file "Chancery.TaskManager.Service.Log file". |
