Facilities Management permissions

Permissions in this category pertain to the setup of buildings and rooms [>>]. These permissions include:

Buildings permission

This permission controls the user's ability to set up a school's buildings [>>].

Dependencies:

= This permission applies only to a role with a school-level scope [>>].

Settings:

= Delete: The user can add, edit, or delete a school's buildings.
= Edit: The user can add or edit a school's buildings.
= View: The user can view but not change a school's buildings.
= None: The user is unable to view or work with a school's buildings.

Default settings by base role [>>]:

= District Administrator: Delete
= School Administrator: Delete
= School Counselor: Delete
= School Secretary: Delete
= Teacher: None
= School Health Professional: View
= District Health Professional: View

Rooms permission

This permission controls the user's ability to define the rooms [>>] in the school's buildings.

Dependencies:

= This permission applies only to a role with a school-level scope [>>].
= For this permission's setting to be effective, the setting for the Buildings permission [>>] must be Delete, Edit or View, since that permission controls the user's access to the Buildings page, which contains the Rooms link.

Settings:

= Delete: The user can add, edit, or delete a school's rooms.
= Edit: The user can add or edit a school's rooms.
= View: The user can view but not change a school's rooms.
= None: The user is unable to view or work with a school's rooms.
