I forgot my PowerSource password.
You may reset your PowerSource password by clicking the following link: Forgot My Password.
I forgot the answer to the PowerSource password reminder question I set up.

If you have forgotten the answer to the PowerSource password reminder question you set up, you may have your school district's technical or implementation contact reset your password. They may do this in PowerSource by navigating to Home > Account Management and clicking Reset next to your account.

Note: If you do not know who your technical or implementation contact(s) are, please contact your school or district leadership team (superintendent, principal, etc.) or technology department as they were likely involved with the acquisition of PowerSchool software for your organization and would likely know who is designated as a technical contact. For security reasons, the Web Services team cannot disclose the identity of technical or implementation contacts.
I never received a PowerSource password after I reset it.
If you do not receive the PowerSource password reset notification email, please check your spam/junk folder or contact your email administrator. Your email system must allow the delivery of email from the following email address and domains:
  • powersource@powerschool.com
  • powerschool.com
My PowerSource password and/or username was rejected.
The following are solutions to common issues encountered with PowerSource passwords and usernames:
  • PowerSource passwords are case-sensitive (uppercase and lowercase letters matter) and must be entered exactly as you set it up. If you are attempting to enter a password that you received in a reset notification email from PowerSource, you must enter it exactly as listed in the email. To avoid typing errors, we suggest you copy and paste the password from the email to the PowerSource password field making sure not to copy blank spaces preceding or following the password.
  • If you have reset your PowerSource password multiple times, you must use the last password that was emailed to you.
  • Ensure that your caps lock key is not enabled on your keyboard.
  • Ensure that you have entered the correct PowerSource username. This is your email address. If you are not sure which email address was used to set up your PowerSource account, please contact your district's technical or implementation contact for this information.
  • You may not have a PowerSource account. Logins to other PowerSchool products (your student information system, grade book, etc.) may not be used to log in to PowerSource. If you are not sure whether or not you have a PowerSource account, please contact your district's technical or implementation contact for this information.
