Installing the database files
The PowerSchool SMS database installer enables the administrator to install the files needed to create the PowerSchool SMS database.

On the Database Server, make sure Microsoft SQL Server is running. |

Click the Support tab. The Support page appears. |

Click Downloads. The Downloads page appears. |
|

Click PowerSchool SMS folder. |
|

Under Get PowerSchool SMS, click PowerSchool SMS<version>. |

Or, click the Releases and Updates folder, then the PowerSchool SMS folder. |

Under Available Resources, double-click PowerSchool_SMS_<version.build>_DB_Installer.exe. |

In the dialog, click Save File. |

In the Welcome dialog, click Next. |

Navigate to the location of your download file and double-click double-click PowerSchool_SMS_<version.build>_DB_Installer.exe. |
