Assigning grades to a class in a past grading period
You can enter a student's grade for a class in a previous grading period; that is, a grading period that occurred before the student was scheduled into the class [>>]. This is useful when a student transfers in from another school or district.

Locate and view the student record [>>]. The Edit Student Demographics page appears. |

In the control bar, click Schedule. The Student Schedule page appears. |

Click the Backfill Grades check box for the class. |

In the control bar, click Grades. The Student Grades page appears [Figure 57]. |

Select the grading period and enter the grades. |
