State Reporting permissions

Create State Reporting Package permission

This permission controls the user’s ability to create a custom reporting package for a state.

To create a custom state reporting package [DA]:

Dependencies: None

Settings:

= Yes: The user can create a custom state reporting package.
= No: The link does not appear on the District Setup page.

Default settings by base role [>>]:

= District Administrator: Yes
= School Administrator: Yes
= School Counselor: Yes
= School Secretary: No
= Teacher: No
= School Health Professional: No
= District Health Professional: No

Generate Extract permission

This permission controls the user’s ability to generate an extract for state reporting.

To generate an extract for state reporting [DA]:

Dependencies:

= To control the ability to set up extracts for state reporting, refer to the permission to set up extracts, see State Reporting Setup permission [>>].

Settings:

= Yes: The user can generate an extract for state reporting.
= No: The link does not appear on the District Setup page.

Install State Reporting Package permission

This permission controls the user’s ability to install a state reporting package.

= Yes: The user can install a state reporting package.
= No: The link does not appear on the District Setup page.

State Reporting Setup permission

This permission controls the user’s ability to set up, organize, and classify state reporting configurations.

To set up state reporting configurations [DA]:

Dependencies:

= To control the ability to generate an extract for state reporting, refer to the Generate Extract permission [>>].

Settings:

= Delete: The user can add, edit, and delete information on the PowerSchool SMS pages pertaining to state reporting setup.
= Edit: The user can add and edit information on the PowerSchool SMS pages pertaining to state reporting setup.
= View: The user can view but not change information on the PowerSchool SMS pages pertaining to state reporting setup.
= None: The link does not appear on the District Setup page.

= District Administrator: Delete
= School Administrator: View
= School Counselor: View
