To get started copying assignments, select the class from which you want to copy assignments.

You will be copying assignments from your current first period Biology class, which is already selected in the Classes pane.

Once you have the correct class selected, you can copy assignments by right-clicking or control-clicking on the Genetics quiz and selecting Copy Assignments.

The Copy Assignments window lists all of the assignments for the class.

By default, the assignment you selected is checked in the list.

Select the check box for the Student Contract assignment so that both assignments are selected.

Then, click Next.

Notice the term menu at the top of the Copy Assignments window. By default, the current term is selected. To copy assignments from one course section to another during the current term, make sure the term menu is set to Semester 1.

Copy assignments from your first period Biology class to your second and third period Biology classes by checking the boxes to the left of those class names.

First, check 2(A-B) Biology.

Next, check 3(A-B) Biology.

Then, select the due date. Since you are copying assignments from one class to another during the current term, choose Existing to keep the due dates as they are.

To proceed with copying, click OK.

Now verify that you copied the assignments from your first period class into your second and third period classes. Select 2(A-B) Biology in the Classes pane.

You can see the assignments were copied into your second period class successfully.

Now that you’ve learned how to save time by copying assignments from one class to another, scroll down to try it yourself.
